We got to practice our manners for Valentine's Day with a tea party!  We also learned how to set the table!  It was such a fun day!

Mardi Gras!

We learned about Mardi Gras in kindergarten this week!  We had king cake, caught beads, made masks, "hit the deck" to get doubloons, and had a fais do do!

The Queen!

We had a special visitor: The Queen of England!  She arrived today to help us learn about tea party manners to prepare for our Valentine's Day Tea Party!  She also let us have a tea time with some delicious apple tea and we got to make our very own crowns!

Founding Fathers

We've been learning about some of our founding fathers in kindergarten!  Today we got to go back in time and be the founding fathers!  We got to sign the Declaration of Independence with our quills!  Then to make it look old, we colored it yellow and crumpled it up!

100th day of school

We celebrated our 100th day of school by being old ladies and old men!  And we put together a 100's chart, and counted out 100 beads for a necklace, and made a snack with 100 treats, and made a 100th day of school hat!  What a fun day!
