One of our incredible parents, Ms. Navita is from Nepal! She came in to teach us all kinds of neat things! We got to color the flag from Nepal (which is shaped differently than most flags) and see pictures of Mount Everest and Annapurna! We also got to have a Tika ceremony where we got a red dot on our foreheads, a flower on our heads, water in our hands, and a sweet in our mouths! We also got a Nepali coin...a rupee! We ended with a Nepali scarf dance!
