Christopher Columbus

We had a fun time learning about Columbus this week!  We even got to sail on the Santa Maria and look for gold in the Indies!  And we actually made it to the Indies!  We also got to decide if we thought Columbus was a hero or a villain!

Was Columbus mostly a hero or mostly a villain?

Jonah- He was a villain because he stole people and stole people’s stuff.

Mason- Villain because he stole people’s stuff.

Sloan- He was mostly a villain because shouted and took people’s stuff and he made people come back and he gave people diseases.

Collin- He was mostly a villain because he made people sick and he spreaded germs and he took people and he took people’s stuff.

Trista- He was a villain because he took people home with him and he yelled at people and took people’s stuff.

Isaac- I think he was a villain because he stole people’s stuff.  I think he even stole my socks.

Elias- He was a good guy because he thought the world was round.

Jayson- He was a bad guy because he shouted at people and stole their stuff and took some people.

Michela- He was bad because he said, “Give me your stuff.”

Zoe- He was bad because he made people sick from a different island.

Blake- He was a villain because he took people’s stuff and he actually stole people’s stuff and people.

Journey- He was a villain because he took people and stole stuff.

Corbyn- He was a villain because he stole people’s stuff.

Reese- He was a villain because he was mean and stole stuff.

Aubrey- He was a villain and he stole people.
