We had a lot of fun learning about the Wright Brothers this week and all the work they put into making the first motor powered airplane. We tried to be like the Wright Brothers in class and we made our own airplanes...paper airplanes! We had flying contests, and like the Wright Brothers, if our plane did not fly so well we make some improvements on it so that we got better and better!
One time, I went on a cruise and I entered a contest. I did not know our challenge was to make paper airplanes. It is a good thing my husband is so smart! He made the best paper airplane in the whole group. It flew so far! We got a golden trophy! Maybe he can come next year for the Wright Brothers Day.
