The Constitution

     Last week we learned about the Constitution.  The Constitution has a Preamble, 7 Articles, and 27 Amendments.  We memorized the Preamble.  The Constitution also has the Bill of Rights.  It is important so that the Anti-Federalists would vote for the Constitution.  

    On Friday, we learned about our Superpowers.  They are all of our personalities.  The names are wood, fire, earth, water, and gold.  I am gold which means you are smart and you love to learn.

Mount Rushmore and The Statue of Liberty!

     Last week we learned about Mount Rushmore and The Statue of Liberty.  Here are two facts about both of these things.  Mount Rushmore has 4 presidents on it.  Mount Rushmore has George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abe Lincoln.  The two facts about The Statue of Liberty are it is 300 and 5 feet tall!  It was a gift from France.  

    Bella and Val  came on Friday and taught us that we the people made America.  Bella and Val are visitors.  They came and gave us gifts.  They answered our questions about Washington DC and the White House Christmas party.  Bella got to work for the President when she was only 10 years old.
