Kindness Ninjas!
We LOVE our middle school buddies! So for kindness day we wanted to do something fun for them and their friends! We worked all morning on kind notes then snuck upstairs and put one on every single locker in our school! It was so fun!
A change in plans!
We had planned to go outside on insect day and search for insects! But...it snowed! So then we were going to do an insect museum! But....I realized nothing in our sensory bucket was an insect! So, we did a museum of fossils of things that live outside with insects! I love how this class can just roll with the changes! We used our playdough to make fossils! It was so fun! (And I have no clue why the pictures keep coming across as sideways! They are fine on my end! Sorry about that!)

Meet Snowflake!
We got a package in the mail the other day and it was from my sister! It was this cute blow up penguin to congratulate us on becoming a National Geographic class! We have named him snowflake and he does everything with us!
Friendship day!
Friendship day is THE BEST! I put all of the kids names in a hat and they each draw a name! They get to make a card and friendship bracelet for the secret friend they picked! They get so excited and work so hard to make everything perfect for their secret friend! When we exchange, there is always lots of squeals and laughter! Such a simple activity with a BIG impact!
